We must engage in community and coalition building to ensure the community is truly African-centered. Engaging with the wider Black community and drawing on its wisdom, knowledge, experience, and expertise is essential. This involves partnerships with community organizations, elders, local artists, and activists. We seek to build community and work to create space for these necessary partnerships and collaborations.
